Australian number 1 William Henzell is through to the last 32 players of the London Olympics; check out the article posted on the ITTF website here...
William is now due to meet Vladimir Samsonov, a former silver medalist at the World Championships in 1995 who is currently ranked inside the top 10 of the world.
"William will go in to the match as the underdog, however do not be suprised to see a close contest" said Simon Gerada
The draw will only get tougher though, if William does manage to get through as he will then face Zhang Jike of China the current World Champion and nr.1 ranked player in the world.
The match will be shown live tonight on Foxtel between 655 & 11pm; "it is a shame that we have not been able to see William play on TV here in Australia, considering we see 50 heat events from swimming you would think that we could see this Australian bloke play a little Table Tennis against the best in the world"
